After each week's completion, ESPN College Football analyst Cole Cubelic shares his "Sunday SEC takeaways."

Here's what he had to say about LSU after the Tigers' 31-0 shutout win against Mississippi State, along with his comments about the Bulldogs.

LSU: Good use of flat early in passing game. Got them running to the numbers. TEs good arch, split & pass pro. QB efficient. Took check downs. Worked middle of the field. Toss helped with that some when they went PA off it. QB runs added to things. 13 really good in open field. QB more poise on the move when things broke down. Seemed more committed to run early. Better in SY. WRs & RBs good after catch. OL physical in pass pro, found work. Zone scheme much more effective. 44 did some nice things on offense. Defense fast & aggressive. Edges were great, attacked mesh in run & PA. Affected QB there as well. 47 disrupted inside. Made QB uncomfortable. Took ball away. 42 filled it up quick, pressured well. 29 good rushing passer & playing run. Contested quick throws. Solid win in conference on the road.

MISSISSIPPI STATE: LBs had eye violations. Split zone got them. DL movement took them out of gaps. 9 had good pass rush. Didn't over commit to rushing passer. Needed more from front. 4 gave great effort again at LB. Struggled in man over middle. Got tested out over hash/numbers. Played hard. Took themselves out of too many plays. Toss crack replace gave up yards. Good vs reverse late. QB had a few sail on him. Tough spot. 3 good in quick game. Tackles struggled in pass pro. Did not handle edge defenders well enough. Impacted longer developing plays. 5 ran hard, got back to LOS in a hurry.
