Not sure about the butt crack but I had a doctor explain to me the evolutionary theory behind why your turds are tapered on the ends. He said it was to keep your a-hole from slamming shut when you take a crap.
I told him knowledge like that is why he gets paid the big bucks.

Which is my whole point. We walk upright, causing the mass of our muscles to evolve around the bottom half. Which is why a human’s leg muscles are going to Almost always far outperform their arm muscles.
We are bipedal, versus an animal that, say, swings From their arms in trees.

When you kiss someone you both, in essence, are creating one long tube connecting two buttholes indirectly.

What’s the evolutionary advantage of humans having an entire butt crack in addition to the butt hole? Is it to protect the hole so that nothing gets into it? Most animals seem to just have a hole.

Maybe the hole also helps us to be more stable and comfortable when sitting down?

I mean, could have ended up with long buttcheeks. That would be weird.

...or would it if everyone had them.

If this is true, my dog makes zero effort to shield his butthole. He struts around the house with it totally exposed.

Holy shite I just now realized he’s probably gay! Should I have him put down? Or will a regular regimen of open palm beatings cure him of the ghey?

A dick gets hard without a bone in it the same way an arse bites off a turd with no teeth. Just another of life’s unexplained miracles

Why is our hole located mid body? I'd prefer it a little further down.

I think the belly button is a bigger mystery than the butt crack.

My guess is the butt cracks are extenstions of your legs. But never really considered it lol.

When upright the cheeks cover your anus to keep flies and other pests off and from burrowing inside u expectedly. If we had a tail it may have been different.

We're bipedal, not quadrupedal. There seems to be a lot of advantage for independent movement of the legs with the current design.

Plus, yoga pants.

If you’ve ever banged a chick doggy style, you’d know that the butt muscles stretch and thin out exposing the anus. More similar to an animal that walks on 4 legs.

I don’t think the muscles evolved to protect the anus. The muscles evolved and the anus was just hidden more as a secondary reaction.
