I think he’s a talented songwriter and musician. In the Heights and Hamilton wear great musicals. I’m into Broadway though.
He’s style is what it is though. I wasn’t in love with Encanto. Mostly because it was just more of the same. I’d heard these same songs before. It’s Latin influenced hip hop.
As far as acting, he’s weak. He was upstaged by others in Hamilton and he was not good in His Dark Materials.

Nah, since then there has been "Wicked", "Lion King", "Book of Mormon", "Chicago", "Rock of Ages" all that have been more popular than "Cats". That's just off the top of my head that I know have made way more money despite having shorter runs than Cats. There is a new "must see" Broadway show every few years now.

Encanto and Moana soundtracks were great, brought you back to Disney movies that had great soundtracks! Hamilton was stupid. For example, the guy who played Corlys Velaryon in House of the Dragon is of the same concept of Hamilton, but he did a phenomenal job and made you forget. Hamilton just sucked all the way around and made it obvious.
