I really don't get the rationale of traveling billions of miles to earth to help prehistoric peoples stack rocks. It just seems like a huge waste of time.
It would be like taking a flight to India to kneel down and help ants build their little ant colonies.
We are so much more advanced than every other life form on Earth. How much more advanced alien civilizations must be to us now!

usually they come here to harvest something that we have and they want
often it's gold, but sometimes it's more esoteric (like our souls)

The most terrible truth is being covered by this. Not that aliens exist, or that they were here in ancient times.
The terrible truth is that aliens left us bc we weren't promising enough as a people. We didn't have enough to offer them, and our intelligence couldn't match anything that they could find a use for. We weren't worthy of them. The ultimate rejection of humankind would be too much for us to take as a society. Special snowflakes everywhere would end themselves. There couldn't be enough safe spaces

That Canadian defense minister didn't learn anything about aliens in his job. He decided they exist after retiring. He's no more credible than a lot of the other alien believers

It would be heartbreaking if this was true. I hope we are not some alien social experiment gone bad, or that they view us as primitive animals no longer worthy of help.

It's true. Human's are disadvantaged minorities in the galactic neighborhood. We've caused Alien Flight to happen in this area of the Milky Way. Those bastards took all the good promethean technology when they left and now we have to build our own shite with crappy earth materials.
If only we had someone in the Alien population that understand the plight of Earthlings and was able to sympathize and turn the majority of them away from their advantaged ways.

Well considering we are just a type 0 civilization, you have to imagine there are many alien type 2-5 civilizations in the universe. No doubt they view us as primitive animals.

I think, by definition, he is credible. Unless you think a high ranking official in charge of a countries defense isn't credible
He's not a loon. He has no reason to lie. He hasn't exactly sought out fame and fortune selling his story either.

That was an episode on ancient aliens that discussed these incredibly straight lines carved into the side of the rocks that even a modern day Mason could not duplicate. That was pretty interesting. There are many things I just don't understand how they could pull off with their primitive equipment and limited knowledge of engineering
