Our current social framework is built upon an insane idea that “identity” is the most important thing.

Boot agrees 100% with Scruffy on this point, and yet those same people want us all to be equal in every way.

ancestry.com profile shows that I have south Italian and north African in me.

North African is Arabic, not Black. Just in case anyone is confused with that.

The issue isn’t really people who claim to be 100% Native American. There would be a very small number of people who could even possibly make that claim.

You need to move further west. Out here in the Dakotas, Nebraska, Montana, even Minnesota and Wisconsin there are many, many people with pure NA blood, still live on the reservations and are tribal members.

To get hired by Harvard or run for office.

But seriously, to get aid from the government or brag about some cultural prowess...

It’s been happening since the 1800s. Several article have been written about the phenomenon of whites, especially in the South, claiming grandma was a “full blooded Cherokee princess.”

The Inidians joke, “If you meet somebody who you wouldn’t necessarily think they’re Native, but they say they’re Native, chances are they’ll tell you they’re Cherokee.”

Why Do So Many Americans Think They Have Cherokee Blood?

No, you are not part Cherokee. Why tribal family lore is so common among white people from Oklahoma to Georgia
