Why do poors take so extraordinarily long to check out at convenience stores

Its mind numbing, especially the multiple transactions when they find out they can buy an extra pack of cigarettes or more lottery tickets.

A line formed behind me at the gas station the other day because the chip on my card wouldn’t work. Then you have to play that game where you have to try the chip 3 times before it will let you swipe it.

Definitely a lack of efficiency. I've also perceived that it's a general lack of consideration. Consideration of others often gets left out in the discussion of attributes of intelligence.
