I've got 5 kids, 13 grandkids and 14 great grands with at least one more on the way now and many more to come. I want to be around to enjoy their company for as long as they can tolerate this old fossil.
Family doesn't mean as much to the younger generations though as they are too busy with sporting activities etc. to enjoy the finer things in life. Did someone mention travel ball?

It’s here, you either see it or you don’t. That’s the only heaven.

When the last game in Tiger Stadium ends each year............I take a good look around the stadium and say I hope to come back again next year.

I've already lost one wife to a terrible disease...........my 2nd wife has cancer so I live with the D word.

I'm 59..............I want to keep going as long as I can!

I want to beat everyone's record on Earth. I also want to enjoy the time spent here with the people I know and love here.

Death is inevitable (unless science changes that), so why rush it?

I can endure anything life throws at me. If my tolerance for being uncomfortable gets to a point when I would rather let go, then I'll let go when the time comes.

I have Christian friends who don’t fear death and can’t wait to see Jesus. As far as they care, when he calls them home, no issue. I want to be with my kids and grandkids as long as possible. But the day I become a burden, I don’t want to be here anymore. I won’t lay up in bed in a diaper or have to be fed and not know what’s going on. There are plenty of bridges to drive over or wherever the day that may become a reality. What’s the point of keeping someone going?

All these downvoters who are afraid of death are the same pussies that were screaming at us to wear a mask and get a clot shot

I assume you dont have children.

If you did, you would understand why people want to live longer.

In all for being healthy and taking medication if sick but if I get cancer that’s incurable or if I become trapped in a wheelchair I would just rather die.

I’ve thought about this many times before. Seems like Christians wouldn’t be afraid to die.

I agree with your reason OP.

I obviously want to be around to see grandkids and maybe great grandkids one day, but if I ever get to the point where I can't take care of myself or do things I enjoy, then I don't want to be here

I want to live as long as I can take care of myself. When the day comes that I can't, put me in the ground.
