Why do people think Pyramids in Egypt are burial tombs

It’s really the most ridiculous theory ever. There is literally no fricking credible evidence at all that these were burial tombs for Pharaohs. We don’t really know who built them, when they were actually built, how they were built or what they were used for.

But it’s as more likely that they were literally anything than burial chambers, as not one single piece of evidence inside the pyramids supports this.

This really needs to stripped from textbooks

Nope never ever ever happened. Pharaohs were almost all burned in Valley in the Kings

You're thinking of only the Great Pyramid. The others were definitely burial chambers, probably based on the Great Pyramid design.
