NorCal is a shithole filled with loons

Newport down to Diego is the best

Gas is still 4.99 thanks to NorCal Dems that control the state

California is largely conservative western culture The big cities are loony tunes but the entire state is beautiful. We all know about SF and how they want to control everyone and everything and LA is turning third world culture but the rest is very nice.

California is the most beautiful state in the country with the best weather. That’s why 40 million people live there.

I’d move to San Fran in a heart beat if I had a job offer for $500k a year.

My brother lives in Goleta, which is the Santa Barbara area.

21 Best Things to do in Goleta, California

Located in southern Santa Barbara, the city of Goleta is a fun place for a family holiday or a romantic weekend getaway. One of the most unique and interesting things you can do while there is to go see the migrating Monarch butterflies at Goleta Butterfly Grove or the Coronado Butterfly Preserve. Visitors also enjoy spending the day outdoors at Goleta Beach or going on a brewery tour with Rock Star Trolley. With wide open beaches and several hidden gems like souvenir stores and restaurants, Goleta is sure to be enjoyed by everyone in the family. ...

Going to visit in the Spring. Will report to the OT after the visit.

There will be mud slides but only in the burned acreage. And flash flooding in dry creek beds.

Steep terrain and no ground cover.

I’m a Florida guy and I would love to live in California just to escape the humidity. Their politics and taxes prevent me from ever seriously considering it as an option.

I've been to many places in our great country and my least favorite area by far is southern California (except San Diego)

L.A. is the trashiest place I've ever been

Actually, they have more questions about why Louisianans put up with horrible, 6-month-long summers.

I live in California, in the Central Valley which is pretty shitty (but cheap)

In 3 hours I can be at Yosemite park, which people fly from all the over the world to see. If you live in southern Louisiana, people drive 10 hours to go to the mountains in gatlinburg.

I can be in Santa Barbara, which is pretty much paradise on earth, in 2.5 hours

I can go hang out with bums and liberals in San Francisco in 4 hours. San Diego in 4 hours. Los Angeles and its infinite activities in 2

Skiing in Lake Tahoe in 6
9 or so national parks to choose from.

The nice places are just really, really expensive. Like paying 800k to live in a small house in a suburb of Los Angeles with neighbors right on top of you. On the coast it’s pretty much unaffordable unless you’re OT ballin.
