Ran out of dip in a duck blind a couple years ago. My buddy had pouches, which I had never tried before. Haven't used anything else ever since

Yea, my dad had throat cancer. Radiation ate up his saliva glands and taste buds. Now he has permanent cotton mouth and can't taste food.

Never cared for fine cut. Started on longcut and now dip pouches. Been dipping for over 15 years now. Have lost 3 teeth and my gums basically destroyed. Worst habit ever.

Fine cut is more flavorful, number one. More surface area = more flavor.
Fine cut doesn’t result in a big arse wad of tobacco in your lip. Fine cut will spread out a little, which makes for a much more comfortable dip. Most people don’t know I have a dip in my mouth.

You’re doing something very, very wrong. Over 40 years dipping now, starting when I was about 9. Haven’t lost any teeth, no bridges, no crowns, and only 3-4 fillings.

This, although I tried like hell to cull most activities down but there is no escaping a good dip in a duck blind, or fishing, or playing golf. I got it down to the point I was maybe getting a dip or 2 a day and finally I just said, frick this shite. I quit cold turkey and that was 1 year and 1 month ago.
The downside is that I can smell a big dip threw this computer screen.
