Why do people buy cheap toilet paper?

I just used an entire roll of cheapo toilet paper and then some to wipe away turd debris when it prob could’ve been done with three wipes from a more absorbent brand.

Why do people buy toilet paper at all? We installed a bidet, and after about a month of making sure it was getting the job done, I haven't had to wipe my arse at all unless the air dryer didn't fully take care of the wet spots.

In high school I had a friend with a hoarder for a mom. She would go to this salvage store and buy all sorts of stuff in bulk. One time she bought cases and cases of this one ply toilet paper. So much that they didnt buy regular toilet paper for like 5 years. When i slept at his house I brought my own TP.

Charmin Ultra soft is legit and is what gets put out at the house for general use but the gold standard butt wipe is that witch hazel wet wipe stuff made for the hemorrhoid sufferers. That stuff is blissful.
