7th on the list. I’m impressed.

These are the 10 fastest growing cities in Louisiana for 2018 according to the most recent census data:

I’ve never been on a cruise ship, but the idea of it is somewhat appealing to me. Of course, I haven’t taken vacation in 6 years building a business, so anything like getting hammered all day and having someone else drive me around to different places and be responsible for my well being piques my interests.

4th in 2017. We haven't experienced 2018 yet.

North Bossier > most of the rest of LA.

Did two Carnival trips out of NOLA with the wife 4-5 years ago. Both Key West, Freeport, and Nassau. Had a great time on the first one so we decided to do it again the next year.

Second trip felt like Groundhog Day. Everything on board was exactly the same as the first time. The activities, the meals, the jokes the ship announcer said, etc.

The whole thing felt like a giant ploy to sell you grossly overpriced photos. Like the whole trip is set up around taking pictures. So weird. The food wasn't bad, felt like there were always decent choices. The dining room food was always good. The buffet food didn't look very appetizing (very Golden Corral-ish), I didn't try any of that. Smoked salmon for breakfast was great. They had a somewhat Izzo's-like burrito place on deck. Boat was nice. I was shocked/appaled at the amount of old people on board. There were a few lower class folks but the upper class was in attendance as well.

It was cool, but I don't have much desire to go on another one. I look at it as an easy way to get an introduction to several locales in one trip.

The best part of cruises is getting drunk and people watching.

Watching trashy people do trashy things while getting drunk is so much fun

If you want a good cruise, pick a good line with a good itenerary. You'll pay for it though.

I always love when the cruise bashing threads start.

“Trashy” people are the people who know how to have a great time in crowds.

“Non-trashy” people, that say cruises are trashy are the stiffs who sit in the corner and soak in their own misery. Us “trashy” people point at y’all and talk about y’all being stiffs as much as y’all point at us and call us trashy.

We always go in a group of 15-20 people and it’s always a great time!

I'd take a cheap cruise. Never done it but I could have a good time almost anywhere for 3-4 days

Some people are just miserable

I see people post pics on Facebook and it's always so damn trashy. From the glassy looking staircases to the photo backdrops that people pose in front of (with the date and cruise name printed at the bottom of the pic). It all looks so tacky and cheesy. And trashy as hell.

You get what you pay for.

If I wanted to hang out with trashy people for 3-4 days I’d just go spend the week in Gulf Shores and party at the Flora-Bama.

Or I’d just go to the Tarpon Rodeo......

oh wait, I already do both of those things every year.

I like being trashy sometimes but you’d never catch me on a carnival cruise.

You don't see poor people on 7 day carnival cruises outside the Caribbean. You'll see a lot of Southern European "trash" though.

Well they attract poor people and poor people have simple pleasures. So its not trashy to them...

$250 to go to Mexico for 5 days, a few dollars for a set of rum runners.

Its a great vacation.....compared to the other cheap trashy options like like the florabama coast....plus ya don't have to drive there.

Exactly. There's some incredibly insecure people on this board.

Coming from someone that constantly has to remind people where he lives and how he’s so glad he left Louisiana. But can not stop posting on a Louisiana based website.
