re: Why do cruises always look so trashy?

Not as trashy as the all inclusive resorts targeting the lower middle class
As things become more affordable they get more tacky.
People used to get dressed up to fly. Now a flight of people looks like a greyhound bus.
I prefer widespread availability for everyone, just have to take the low rent aspects with it

It's fine to have an opinion on something you've experienced. You have to know you're on thin ice when you bash something you don't know dick about..

I will never set foot on a cruise. Stuck on that boat with a bunch of trashy people and thrown with a bunch of annoying people at dinner.
All you're saying is you don't have the money to afford nice cruises

NCL > Carnival if embarking out of NOLA
You will pay 10-20% more but your trashiness level goes down 75-90%

Back in the 70's my Mom bid on WYES auction and won a cruise to the Mediterranean. The only thing it was on a Lykes Lines freighter not a cruise ship. The trip was 3 months. I can't remember how much but I remember it was a great deal. She was Istanbul and took photos of Russian subs in port, at least that is what she was told.

It's because you guys only have Carnival.

Guess the OP has never done a Disney Cruise.

We've got some world travelers on the OT. This tells me you know more about Golden Corral than cruises

Not really. That place doesn’t really have much to offer. It’s as big a shithole as the rest of the state.

This highly defends on your preferences. There's a shitload of outdoor activities close to town, has decent shopping etc. North Bossier is growing like crazy. It's booming
