Why do burger places assume you want all this extra shite on your cheeseburger?

If you order a cheeseburger, why is the standard to put lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, ketchup, etc on it too? If I wanted to ruin my burger, I would ask for them to add that to my burger when I order.
Rant over.
ETA: do not give me the argument of simply asking for a plain burger, because I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been screwed going that route.

Why do idiots assume it’s ok to post about food on the OT when there is clearly a f’n food board?

I'm a basic burger man too. I find that a ton of condiments/toppings detracts from the flavor.

People are dying from cancer and you’re bitching about burger toppings

Because that's what a standard sandwich has.

Is it that hard to say "no tomatoes" or "meat and cheese only" etc?

When you eat fast food you get what you get… A regular restaurant always sets the lettuce tomato and onion on the side.

Cheeseburger, yum. Last tasty one I had...

Quit eating like a picky 4yo.

That’s all there should be on a standard burger. Pickles are the devils dick

Why do you have the palate of a child?

The standard toppings should always be mayo, lettuce, tomato. Anything else is overkill.

I like cheese, lettuce, Mayo and mustard unless it's a specialty burger like a BBQ bacon cheeseburger.
I can't stand raw onions, tomatoes, pickles on mine. Some of those are fine in my salad but I'm eating a burger.

Just ask McDonalds to hold all of the “disgusting shite”. I don’t know how people like you get through life.

Have u ever tried that? Works maybe 1/10 times
Posted on 2/13/19 at 6:45 pm to tigerfan247365
The McDonalds comment was a jab
Go to 5 Guys and order it how you like it.

So the rest of the world should cater to your bitch boy needs because you don’t like tomatoes?

Because that is the default unless you tell them otherwise. You don't know this?
