And at first, very few realized it was a jet that hit. I remember the first report as it came out: a plane. Maybe a small private plane (as had happened not too long prior).
And even a jet, you dont expect the tower to fall.

I am not sure I believe that 1.5 Million Iraquis died in that war...of course, I do not consider those in the Military to be "innocent"....

The vast VAST VAST number of Iraqis killed have been killed by their own people. The numbers aren't even close. We thought, ignorantly it appears, that getting rid of a psychotic dictator who liked to gas his own citizens might be a good idea. But, SURPRISE!, they all turned on each other and started setting off car bombs in crowds. Didn't see that one coming. frick him for not knowing the facts.

The number is not known as many mass graves will never be found. But 1.5 million is the tip of the iceberg

All true. But at a certain point they had to get the info on the plane. An engineer could tell you the melting point of the steel and temp of burning jet fuel. But by that point everyone was doomed.
But I understand. You're a fireman. Building is burning. You go in.

The truth as I see it is that a few Muslim fanatics attacked AMERICA for no reason and killed 3500+ non combatants. As a result, we killed a shite ton of Muslim combatants who had and did kill a shite ton of their own Muslim brothers. I don't see the problem here.

Well after the impact there wasn't really a plane left in the building...just a hellacious fire. Why wouldn't they try to put out the fire? If the building didn't collapse you think the fire would've never been put out or they wouldn't have been able to save a number of people?
