You better watch yourself. That man cares for us. He wants everyone to inject Lysol. Lysol don't even know their own product because they put out a safety warning after he made that comment.

I feel like it was in response to our higher number of cases than the national average. Mardi Gras fricked Louisiana up pretty good. Good news is that I think we're over the mountain.

The amount of federal money will not matter when you factor in the economic damage the shutdown has cost.

And how much federal money are we getting anyway. No way Trump bails out states already in a bad economic situation.

We had one of the largest outbreaks in the country and we were 2 weeks behind the other states. It doesn't seem that late to me.

Link to where Louisiana already had money issues? The budget was fricked up when JBE took office (thanks to Jindal) and it took extra sessions in order to get it worked out

And four years later the budget is still messed up. That Jindal sure had some bad medicine.

Meh.
We got hit hard early. If we would have been following the initial guidelines for opening, La most def should have opened up on May 1st based on the statewide data. JBE instead decided to go by regions and a few regions were still having some issues. Many think the two regions in question were only showing signs of problems because they tested everyone in the prisons, jails, ICE detention centers, and nursing homes.

And what's worse is Nola had data to support going to Phase 1 around April 20th, but Destroya is slow rolling things because she's got the IQ of OweO.

And fck JBE for making us wait three weeks instead of two for us to go to Phase 2.

everything you said. Plus the fact that I don't trust the "numbers" for a moment since JBE was clearly angling for as much federal money as he could get.
