Why can’t people separate a concert from a football game?

So Garth encouraged some LSU chants (once at the beginning and once after Calling BR). I thought it was great and fun and loved it. We are in Tiger Stadium and it was appropriate.
But to the douche bags who are chanting LSU after The Thunder Rolls and similar songs, why can’t you separate a Garth concert from an LSU football game? Dudes all around us are chanting LSU after every single song.
These are the same people who go to the beach and fly the LSU flag and deck out in LSU clothes while sitting on the beach. They have no identity other than an LSU fan.
I graduated from LSU and I’m a season ticket holder. But I can separate life from LSU sports. Why can’t you?

I have a friend who will legit wear an LSU polo to everything. Dinner, birthday parties, engagement parties, it doesn’t matter if it’s a black tie affair, he’s gonna find a way to sneak in some LSU gear. It doesn’t bother me, but I just don’t understand it.
