Ok, what about rural areas and that's the only restaurant, food market, or gas station around. Do they just not eat?

Again, if you are black in a rural area and the whites will keep that restaurant or store in business whether people complain or not. If that's the only store where you live, you should be just SOL?

But that is my point. Would I be happy about it? No. The same as a gas station that doesn't have public restrooms. It sucks but that is their choice to do so. Let the market handle it. If I tried to wheel my mother or child into a store and couldn't get them in, I would get pissed I am sure and probably do a little cussing and yelling but I wouldn't sue them over it. I would tell everyone I know what a shitty bunch that business is but I wouldn't sue them.

Yes. Say you were allergic to chicken and the only restaurant you came across was a KFC or Popeyes and all they had was chicken. Could you sue them for not accommodating your allergy? My point is that businesses should be able to choose without worry of lawsuits.

Hell, a few years ago I got drug into a lawsuit on a project that I didn't even bid on and never stepped foot on. I had to hire a lawyer to go tell the other lawyer that they had the wrong company and I was out a few grand.

Yes, those small segments are beginning to control the narrative in the media. The wage gap is a complete myth yet it is still being blamed on the white male patriarchy. These movements are gaining momentum at lightning speed and very few are willing stand up to it. BLM activists have forced all politicians to utter the words "black lives matter" or else face the wrath of an onslaught of defamation via the media. You have groups of black activists taking over Bernie Sanders events when the guy has been quite literally on the front lines of the civil rights movement since day one. Yet this guy has to go out and prove that he's worthy of the black vote. It's completely maddening.

I understand why it exists but I don't understand why the private sector should be REQUIRED to abide by it. I fully understand public property and governments, just not the private sector.

You receive benefit of public works through taxes the general public pays and therefore must cater to the regulations imposed by the various governing bodies to serve the public.
