That’s a lot of words and mental gymnastics just to say that everything is whitey’s fault

Blacks are better athletes

Not always the case. Look no further than Mr. Whitebread Mormon Taysom Hill. Supposedly the fastest player on the Saints. Also you would have to be blind not to notice the Samoan presence in the NFL.

Soccer has a ton of athletic players that are represented by every race imaginable.

It's "would have" not "would of".

The only solution is affirmative action for athletic scholarships in college and in the professional draft and free agent process.

And I would go into welding before getting a teacher certification.

Well obviously but when your old lady is a teacher and you have to hear the stories of the long hours and how hard the job is then you take offense when people accuse them of racism like your doing

i feel like the answers to these types of things are plain ole common sense.

but, some people think they are smarter than everyone else, and if the majority of people come up with a simple answer that uses common sense, then the "smarter" ones need to go to a deeper level of thinking because, well, they are just smarter. it leads to mental gymnastics like the shite in the OP

Young black men tend to excel at an early age in athletics. They fall into the same traps many star athletes encounter, they become arrogant and entitled. They fail to focus on scholastics or preparing for the future. However, most never earn a dime from athletics. Not rocket science.

Nobody can force young people to listen to a genre of music. The studios produce a product that sells. Again, not rocket science.

Admittedly, taking scholarship seriously is a huge problem. Most of it is self sufficiency but parental involvement is noteworthy.

Same goes for music. Do not mistake my concern for not believing in personal responsibility. That's one of the reasons I myself have succeeded despite a poor background. However, it is dishonest to say that studios didn't cut out more beneficial programming to cater to the base desires.

But as you said, money is the driving force, not what's best for society.

Yeah let's line up me and you and the Mexicans who buy all the Monster drinks in the a.m. before they roof against Bama. Let's grab a couple of guys from the kitchen at Sushi Yama. We can outfox those blacks!

Let's prove this guy's study right!

Ridiculous article

"Overrepresented" is usually one word that lets me know it's going to be a shitty opinion piece. We're not all created eqypual, we all have differing abilities

Some people just need to accept that

There is no "best for society" as it's subjective.

Let's stop over analyzing things in order to prove some ridiculous point

agree with this to a point, I had a very good tech working for me who was black, he told me that other black kids shamed him for 'acting white'. He said he tried to teach his best friend IT, but peer pressure pushed him away. It's crazy, but I have no idea how to change it.

F*ck what people say, do what's in your own best interest and don't blame others for your failure, own it so you can fix it.

Most Black kids I grew up with have similar stories. That's why Blacks who work in the tech sector bond so quickly.

What many dont understand is that if you're underrepresented in a field, that's a cultural problem not the White man.
