Muslims have Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, and Saudi just to name a few.

Why have all the authoritarian Christian countries disappeared?

That’s optional in those countries, I’m talking strictly Christian laws enforced. Like how the afghans make women hide their faces type Christian fundamentalist.

Why? What makes us a Christo-fascist state?

Raging Leftist - "They are trying to keep me from chopping off my boy's weiner so I can make him the daughter I always wanted. Also, they are trying to stop Drag Queen Story Hour. And doing away with DEI. Plus.... and this is the kicker.... someone said "Merry Christmas" to me at the checkout the other day. Took me a full night to recover."

Most Christians don’t want to follow all their rules. Just look how many get divorced.

Handmaids Tale was inspired by Iran

But of course, in the book itself Christians are the villains, not Muslims

Because Christian authoritarians were either killed or replaced by democracy, or those wanting democracy

Gotta go back about a thousand years to find that.

Since then, society has discovered that the Catholic church is more like a mafia than faith-based religion, and we've put some pretty hard stops on their influence and power.

Islamicists have been a little more thorough in their domination of culture, education, and government.

Those are authoritarian countries with Christianity as the major religion. There are no countries that based their laws off the interpretation of the Bible like Muslims do.

OP needs to be more detailed.

You are referring to a Theocracy.

Your subject header should be "Why aren't there any theocratic Christian countries"

Vatican City is the only Christian Theocracy
