re: Why are women so difficult to deal with in a work situation?

I work at a place that has all male secretaries. Yeah okay we don’t have the hot young thing to talk to throughout the day but shite gets done and more importantly gets done on time or early. No drama either

I've found that a shop full of middle-aged mechanics in the summer heat will completely surpass the cattiness of an office full of women.

Female lawyers are the worst.

Women create drama. Gossip and jealousy, stuff like that. Complaining about each other. They always seem to be keeping score.
Kind of like what you're doing here?

As a woman, I agree with you. Men will disagree, argue, punch one another in the face then go get a beer and it's all over. They come back to work the next day and get their jobs done.
Women are some conniving vindictive creatures. It's why I hide in my cubicle at work.
My work friend is a guy...that's who I talk to and have lunch with. The others I smile and nod and say hello. But, I do notice all the people who come in late. That is a big pet peeve of mine. Get your arse to work.

I've worked with quite a few women who hate working with other women

My wife always says that she prefers working with guys. She has a few women at her current job that she likes though. And one drama queen.

Contrary to the opinions of many men, some of us actually can use the logic.
For instance, I test as a sociopath, so I compartmentalize quite well. Some of those compartments are in my freezer and full of the heads of the people I have had to kill.

Nice try, HR! I won't fall for your tricks and disparage my esteemed colleaguettes.

saw that too, I let it ride, we know what that's code for, as does everyone else in that workplace

Its even worse when you have a female supervisor. They are overly emotional. Any small bump in the road or infraction is a nuclear level disaster. They cannot handle their employees on their own, so they must always appeal to a higher power - usually a man - to help them manage their staff.

I love taking care of my patients in the clinical work that I do 80% of my week. The 20% of my week that involves supervising 6 different clinics and 15 medical providers makes up 99% of my grief. I never thought that you could learn to be a misogynist but I am growing to hate dealing with women in the workplace. It is amazing how women with 10 years of post high school education can act like bratty 12 year olds most of the time.
Kingbob is spot on in his analysis - but unfortunately I do not have any solution to this barring not hiring any of them

so grateful there is no female in my company that is senior to me, not that I couldn't deal with it, just glad I don't have to

Based on many job experiences, how about every little thing is a struggle to get out of them.
And when in positions of authority they feel the need to constantly assert it or at least subtly mention it.

Its one of the reasons why I left banking, and I now work in construction.
Years ago, when I first go into banking, I made a mistake on a wire transfer form. Nothing illegal, nothing that would get me fired; just a mistake. A male supervisor would have pulled me aside, pointed out my mistake, told me how I should proceed, and move on.
My female supervisor, though, decided she had to get the division manager (a male) and someone from HR involved. I get pulled into her office with the DM and the HR person there. My first question was "was this little mistake on a wire form enough that a division manager and someone from HR had to be present?" The answer, of course, was "no."

One of “administrative assistants” cried to the boss about me the other day because of my “tone.”
She asked me to do something retarded and I simply replied “Nah, I’m not doing that”. She told me I’d have to talk to the boss about it then so I said “Sure, I’ll call him Monday.@.
I had a few emails from colleagues on Monday morning asking me “Dude, wtf did you say to the OA?!?!?”

I mean just about every situation, right?
People say women are difficult 24/7 and that's just not fair.
They do sleep.
