I say this shite in every Range Rover thread. I'll say it again.

We have a supercharged Range Rover that is an absolute rocket ship. It has given us zero problems. The days of underperforming shitty reliability Range Rovers ended around 2011. They are head and shoulders better than they were.

Transmission.
Interior appointments.
Don't have to dick around in a Ford dealership.

Range Rovers are built to last 25 years under heavy duty and minimum maintenance. It's why militaries and warlords in most parts of the world covet them.

You are thinking about the Toyota Land Cruiser, not a Range Rover.

The best Range Rover (and the only one I'd actually buy) has never been available in the US and is technically illegal to own here.

This thing will handle anything you throw at it and keep going.

I would like to see how many with the disparaging comments have owned a Range Rover. I have a 2012 RR Sport and it has been an exceptional car. It is an incredible versatile vehicle and the best handling SUV I've ever driven. I bought the thing used (CPO). Wife has a 2013 LR4 which is also an exceptional car - it is our tow vehicle and road tripper if all 4 kids are traveling with us. My previous two cars were a 2003 M5 and a 2011 E63 AMG. They have all been good cars, but the Range Rover has been my favorite daily driver out of the three. The build quality is super and easily in the same league as the other two, and we haven't had dependability issues. Comparing them to Ford Explorers is a joke.

Because they really do spend money on the things that make people perceive value. You can't deny that getting in a new one is an experience, they look and feel great and come with stupid shite and abilities their buyers' simply won't use. They prey on insecure people with either money to blow and a need to show their worth or people who, LOL, buy one used who have similar insecurities but simply can't fathom how to get ahead in life. The next market is for emasculated men who can't tell their tennis playing wives, no. How anyone can look at their service records and purposely buy one makes it easy to understand why so many people can never retire.

This is what they're selling.

The 2,000 dollar Range is a real favorite of mine.
