Not true.

They were once available until US safety and emissions restrictions. You can have one after those regulations, so long as, it's 25 years or older.

We had one and loved it
Wife got caught in a snowstorm between Dallas and Houston and everybody was sliding off the road. She put on the traction control and cruised home safe and sound

We only sold it because it was her commuter and she wanted a BMW convertible. I let the RR go but the BMW makes her happy on her commute. Mama gets what mama wants

I've never understood the Range Rover love. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee overland for 50k out the door in 2014 and it does all the fancy things like raise the ride height the off-road for all the different terrain! I still have an extra 25k in my bank account and only owe $5k on a 2014 vehicle. The super charged ones have some balls and are bad arse but I would never buy one brand new, I'm letting someone else take that $30k hit on that new vehicle.

I bought an SUV for 17k and almost fainted so I don't think I'll be stepping into any of these things any time soon.
