Just checked Costco's gas prices and regular is set at $1.69 a gallon and Premium is $2.15 a gallon.
Perhaps that explains some of the long lines at Costco for gas. That's the cheapest it's been in ages I do believe.

Because they don’t know how supply/demand works. Gas is cheap because the supply, not because of Covid 19.
But it was nice that we were at like 5% capacity on the farm. Bought 15,000 gallons of off road diesel, 2000 of hwy diesel, and 1000 of gasoline the last 3 days.

This is one I actually agree with
1) gas is cheap
2) people are panicked
3) when you have an actual emergency, the gas pumps will look like the toilet paper aisle. Might as well be safe, rather than sorry
