On my way home and I cant count the amount of drivers that were doing this. It doesnt help, it makes the thick fog brighter for you and it still blinds oncoming cars.

It's the same mentality that causes people to slow down and drive with their hazards on in the rain. They don't know how they impact other drivers.

Ummm,
If it is raining hard enough to reduce visibility you are supposed to slow down.
And if it gets bad enough, your hazards will help the guy behind you see your car.

What, you want too keep driving 65 mph when you can't see 10 feet in front of you?

On the bright side (pardon the pun), it's better than putting your emergency blinkers on. Is the car stopped or is it going forward?

Driving with your hazards on is illegal in many states, La. included. If you can't drive in the rain, stay home.

Not legal to do in Louisiana R.S. Link, and I don’t care about Mary land’s laws.

No, I posted something that I could completely read in 60 seconds without fully reading it all to open myself up for scrutiny here.

Alternative Answer:
Did YOU read Part C?

That’s the portion that makes it illegal.

I do it all the time because the regular headlight on my driver side hasn’t worked in 3 years.

I should have read your initial post better, we're arguing the same point.
