Corvette , Camaro , G-35 , they are out there.
You can get a pretty good corvette deal if you look. A lot of them had older drivers who babied them.

Isn’t the Miata more of a girly car?
Subaru was labeled the same way, but in my travels in the mountains, rough roads, and snow on my two month western US road trip I wouldn't give up my Outback.

I just sold my 3 series convertible a while back. Was a hard top turbo charged. Fun car but broke down all the time.

Corvette…
My Mustang is way more practical to drive vs a Corvette. My wife and I fit comfortably and have room for plenty of luggage, Costco runs, and other crap I like to keep in the trunk. I’m actually surprised by how much I can fit in that car!
It’s also easier to get in and out of vs a Corvette (I’m mid 50s). Comfortable for long road trips too.

Because this is Louisiana and you can use a convertible about 4 days a year
I had one and had the top down every day that it wasn't raining, and even some days when it was.

Funny I’ve come pass this topic. I still own a Honda S2000 and have been looking to possibly purchase a gated manual Ferrari 360 in coupe form. I won’t even entertain the Spider. When you’ve had a convertible for so long, you start to realize the additional maintenance, extra cleaning supplies, and issues with the top motors and fabric tears. (360 and Gallardo spider tops run into the 5 digits if deck lid motors need replacing.) Not only that but the coupe versions of vehicles help you to wring out a little more performance seeing as how it’s a sturdier and lighter car.
As far as people calling the Miata “girly“, they need to go take a ride with somebody from the Mardi Gras Miata club around a track and they’ll realize quickly how much of a pussy they’ve been strapped into their truck or suv.
Pass. Not worth saving

Convertibles are such a boomer thing I don't think anybody really wants them these days.

Michael Scott killed the convertible Sebring.

The target market doesn’t have enough disposable income for a third vehicle. They can barely afford one of them, so what they do drive has to be practical.

A minivan would be more practical than what you are using the mustang for.

But a minivan isn’t fun to drive. Nor are they convertibles.

Convertibles suck.
Just one more hassle that can break.
