I worked with a guy who was a complete slob. Hair never combed; always looked greasy. He was overweight, and constantly did that Chris Farley pulling up his pants thing that fat dudes always do. I don't think he ever wore a shirt that didn't have some sort of stain on it. He gave me a ride somewhere once, and he had to move a mountain of fast food bags and snack wrappers out of the passenger's side just so I could sit down.
I met his wife, and she was absolutely gorgeous. Like an OT 8/10. And she was smart; some sort of doctor.
The thing was, he was fun as hell to be around. Like time of your life fun.
To women, sometimes, the personality is much more important than looks.

I've said this before.
Any girl, no matter how fat she is, can go to a bar, and by the end of the night, find a guy who will take her home. It might not be an O-T 10 guy, but a guy will take her home.
A fat dude can go to a bar every day for a year, and not find a single woman to go home with him.

As many as see the inside of his wallet.
And that's my point. The fat girl doesn't need money to make her more attractive. The fat girl doesn't need charm, or wit, or brains, or humor. Some guy will take her home.
Women control the situation, and they know they do, because they know there are enough hard legs out there to make it work.

I’m the fat dude that no one wants to date. It’s funny how when I was 16, I could run a mile in six minutes. 36 years later, I take medicine for depression and I weigh 215 lbs.
I have a great job with decent retirement. A good catholic and still can’t find single ladies.

Man up.
Have confidence. No one cares what you could run at age 16. Start flirting in non threatening unfamiliar situations with women you aren't interested in until it comes naturally.
When it does, just talk to women. Keep your figurines, video games, and depression to yourself.
Every man should believe he is capable of getting any woman.

I'm in no position to give advice on women but honestly this is true. They love charisma. It's not necessarily the same thing as confidence either, guys get that confused as come off as fake when they can't pull it off.
They gravitate towards guys like that too because the only thing you can do to a woman worse than hitting her...is boring her. Seriously. Women will stay with a guy who is an absolute zero because he has charisma and something they're drawn to. I've seen sooooo many divorce cases where guys have their wives leaving them despite their being providers because after a while they just became dull. Women will stay in a tumultuous drama filled disaster of a relationship before they'll even enter into a relationship with some timid type.

I'm 32 and could run a mile in 6 minutes, and I consider myself an overweight, out of shape blob.

Dude. Bumble app. stat. Also, Match.com and even Christian Singles have dating apps. Don't be afraid of them. This is the new age and everyone is using them. If you're just looking to hook up, you can find it. If you're looking for a serious relationship you can find that too.
