It is baffling. I have two vehicles, both have stickers that are curling up.

Do we really need inspection stickers anyway? S

I bought a new truck in February. It started peeling that month. It’s hanging by a thread. I’ll tape it back up there I guess when it falls off.
Perfect symbol of Louisiana if you ask me. Can’t even get a sticker correct.

he is one of the worst we ever had but to be fair,m the stickers have been pure garbage for the last 15 years at least peeling off after a few months and one year (or maybe 2)b they went with plastic stickers instead of paper and those things shriveled up to the size of a postage stamp after a few months.
its not like it would break the bank to pay a little more and require they not peel off shrink or fade. they charge enough frickin money for them, stop buying the 5 cent sticker and get the damn 50 cents sticker that lasts or just do like bama and stop having stickers altogether

I bought a 2 year, the only thing keeping it on the window now is scotch tape, I feel like there's something behind this trickery

One of the few benefits of living in MS over LA. No stickers required.

It never used to be this bad.
I feel like mine fell off a couple months in

Talked to the lady that does mine. She said the state started using a new sticker source a few years back and they’ve been crap since. She told me to come back if mine peels and she’ll replace FOC.

It is complete bullshite that we have to have these janky arse things dangling off of our windshields.

I have a 2016 one fully intact

When it started happening a few years ago I was told that Louisiana had bought a bad batch of stickers. They must have bought a shitload cause here we are, still going on.
This is Louisiana, crooked politicians and low standards set by its' citizenry.

They recently changed the law that you can now tape them back up when they start to peal
That was against the law? Was that something that was actually written down, or are we just defaulting to everything being illegal until legislated otherwise now?

Do we still have to get them during this pandemic? Seems like this requirement should be suspended until we reach phase everything back to normal.

We have to in New Orleans, but ours are different than the rest of the state and cost more. Latoya has NOPD making up revenue from Lakeview residents on the West End offramp. Every other afternoon.

Spin off question.
I seem to remember that Mike Foster wants to do away with them.
What happened to that?
