What is with the obsession with MAGA? Jeezus it's so exhausting.
The irony of calling someone a snowflake because they aren't afraid of getting a completely unavoidable cold

It's been several years since we had to wear masks anywhere here. They never worked. It's hilarious they are still required in places

Germs?
Like when a surgeon wears a mask to prevent spreading germs.
Downvote at will, but since the days of the plague, doctors have noticed the importance of cleanliness.
Im not pro mask or pro vax.

Hard to avoid when the entire Methodist Hospital system is requiring them from the top levels down. UGH.
In that case, the doctor could likely be against it but corporate forces it.

masking their clients
A lot of doctors call the people they treat, "patients".

I saw people at Jazz Fest wearing masks. There is no way no to the stupidity.

its not a bad idea on your own. every time i went to the doctor i got sick from being there and picked up a cold or flu bug, so its not a bad idea, but it shouldnt be mandatory.
Got to watch out for that cold bug baw.

fair, but as I was thinking of my dermatologist visit and that there are other dermatologists I can go to, and many of the services rendered therein are elective, botox, fillers, laser treatments, etc.. (I was there for cancer screen) I felt more like a 'client' or 'customer' in this case.

That is sort of my point tho... an aerosolized respiratory virus is not stopped by surgical masks. I imagine in a surgical setting it keeps a sneeze out of an open cavity (or doc's chewing gum from falling in)but we have never been able to mitigate the spread of a respiratory virus with a surgical/cloth mask.

Because it’s been shoved down our throats by the CDC, and suites in the C suite that think it’s still necessary.
But the irony of curtain rooms and a cramped waiting room is over looked.

I'm always so curious when I see people who are still walking around in public with masks on as to what their thought process is behind that. I just consider them to be mentally ill and completely broken by the covid scare.

All the doctors and hospitals I go to have shut down the mandatory wearing of masks. The last one to require them was the Benson Cancer center, but they have gone to voluntary as well.
As to any places still requiring them, I dunno. Maybe they take that whole "first, do no harm" thing to an extreme?

Grocery stores in my blue city are still often 70% masked more or less.
I blame this on the asymptomatic bs narrative and the people that created it should pay.
