A bridge over the Atlantic sounds pretty dangerous

Wrong way

but a bering bridge would be an engineering marvel all by itself

It would be mainly high speed rail and truck/freight. I think one main proposal has three tunnels, one for train, one for trucks and one a service tunnel.

If I was going to go to any of those places, id just fly. I guess it would be cool to complete it from an engineering point of view, but to drive it? No thanks.

Wow, funny you say that I also made the 5,500 mile road trip from Alaska to Baton Rouge. I took the trip in early December of last year and while the roads where pretty bad and had lots of ice, it still wasn't bad enough to where I wouldn't do it again. That being said I would go along for the ride.

What kind of prep did you do for that ride?

Or I would rather drive over the atlantic. Can't believe that hasn't been discussed much.

A highway over the Atlantic would seem impossible IMO..........

Think history channel did a special on this.

Some sort of future engineering thing.

I was hoping for a direct route from New York to London. Disappointed.

I would love to show off my dual exhaust and truck nuts cruising around the motherland.

I would definitely drive that.

They better get to it, though. I'm nearing the end.

I would drive that just to stretch out the legs of my C63 AMG on the autobahn.

That would be really cool to be able to drive and see the world and different sights.

I mean you would be able to see first hand places you would never really go see.

But with that said, I would be so nervous once I left North America until I made it to Great Britain

What about the roving bands of Mongolian's hordes
