Carpenter is very hot, but has always come across as extremely "fake" to me. From her looks to how her songs are trying to come across as "edgy female sexuality" it all just seems extremely contrived, invented in a lab to gain the most celebrity and sales.
She's also not a particularly strong singer. To me she comes across as a "pretty face" the Disney PR team got ahold of, then the music industry moguls captured, molded, and created into what they thought would sell and gain the most attention

Carpenter looks like she’s trying to wear sexy as a skin suit and it’s creepy. Sweeney looks like she was born in it.

there was a meme a while back comparing the two. It was something along the lines of, “Sabrina Carpenter is what women think men want with the half a pound of make up, heavy fake tan, ridiculous outfits, and acts like a teenager. But Sydney Sweeney is actually what men want”
