I took a beard trimmer to my head early on.

But just went a week ago to have it repaired. They required masks. I unlooped it from each ear as needed.

It wasn't a big deal. Just like wearing masks in the first place isn't a big deal.

She cut around my ears by using her breasts to hold the mask in place.

I didn’t complain and gave a nice tip.

ok, we get it. you are a bad arse man.

Now, what if you happen to be asymptomatic? I know a fairly small chance, but you wearing a mask may have kept your barber from exposure.

The mask protects others when someone is positive......

I and Mom both got our cuts last week. We wore masks into and out of the place so any Karens wouldn't ruin the life of the lady. Once inside no masks.

Further, I went grocery shopping without a mask on to 4 different stores and a Dollar general while Mom got her wash, cut, and perm. Only 1 store had most patrons in masks, the others only the workers had them.

Take the "new normal", wrap it in a mask, and shove it up the MSM bum!

I haven't, but it's more because I don't feel like spending $65 to get a haircut just to go home and not see anyone. Happy to just cut it at home until I am no longer working from home, which will be another couple months.

My wife cut my hair. She wanted to try and I don't mind having a buzz cut if it had come out badly. She did a pretty good job. No buzz cut needed.

I said I was a bad arse? Where? I'm simply pointing out that I live in a state that tends to use common sense instead of pointless gestures to make people feel better.

She's in her mid 20s and healthy. She's not at risk. Which is why she chose to not wear a mask either.

Ok? I'm not at risk. She's not at risk. I don't live with anyone at risk, and neither does she.

We both chose to not wear a mask. You are free to wear a mask when and where you wish.

fair enough

if she was fully accepting of the situation and you don't blanket/project your sentiment on others (without consent), I'll retract my ridicule.

In AL, we weren't required to wear a mask, only the barber/stylist had to wear one. I got mine cut the first day they were back open a couple of weeks ago.

A couple weeks ago. Wore a mask. Took it off so he could cut around my ears. Was not a big inconvenience.

Wearing a mask is not that bad. It's a placebo but it is better to just get along then try to be a tough guy.

Got mine cut Friday. No mask on me or the fine woman doing the cutting. Didn't mind a bit either

My girl came to me and cut it on the back porch with zero masks or gloves. That was three weeks ago.

how do they cut your hair wearing a mask? I don't understand
It's pretty fricking easy. You live up the tiny strap to get the extremely small amount of hair it covers. A monkey could figure it out.

I didn't have to do this. She moved the strap for the 5 seconds it took to shave around my ears.

Bought a kit at Costco for $35. Cutting your own hair isn't as difficult as you think.
