Just wait when the FBI shuts down that server. Illegal providers like that are the Napster of TV industry. Unfortunately as one shuts down another pops up.
Mmmkay. There are dozens of IPTV providers.
I’ve been using it a couple of years and my Cox provider is who told me about it. So you think I should stop in case the FBI takes it down one day? That’s fine. In the meanwhile I’ll enjoy the best TV experience I’ve ever had.
These providers bounce signals through millions of servers per second all over the world. Good luck stopping it. This is what people were saying about the World Wide Web in 1998.

Whoever’s fault it is, I don’t care. I pulled the plug today after being with DTV since 2013. YouTube TV here I come.

Disney forces the carriers hands by making sure they pay for all Disney channels. ABC, Disney, Disney Jr, Freeform, ESPN, etc.
I had no idea how many channels they owned until yesterday. FX, the local ABC affiliate, haven't looked to see how many more. And sports are pretty much the only reason people subscribe for full DirecTV packages, so Disney uses that to sell all their other channels.

frick Direct TV! Espn has to pay all that money to the SEC for the next 10 years = increase rates/payments to customers.....You Tube TV here I come!

Disney is the bad guy in this situation but of course the pay TV provider is going to get massive cancellations because they are trying to stand up to the massive bully.
Well, I have U-Vesre and I plan on canceling and it matters little now who has the greater blame. I’ve been without NBC for over two years. This is inexcusable.

I offered it to so many people and they look at me like I'm stupid. Keep paying $100+ month. One girl I work with took me up on it and they love it.
I love StreamQ. If it had a DVR function, I would love it even more. They did have a few instances of lag the first week of NFL games last year, but it was overcome by going to the network in a market other than the local team market.

Got rid of them two years ago, no regrets. Will never again have another dish on my roof, Dish and Directv both operate with the same shady practices. Cut the cord.

I paid $110 for a year.
I stopped telling people about it, b/c they just glaze over and think I’m crazy.
I am amazed at people who are so proud of being a thief.

I don’t know why anyone would still be with directtv when there’s so many better streaming options out there that do not require some stupid contract commitment like directv
Hulu Fubo YouTube tv etc
Hulu Fubo YouTube tv etc

It amazes me that you idiots think that the carrier is to blame
My U-Verse internet bill has over $70 in just fees and taxes! Who should I blame for that?

IPTV is available in any Roku, Firestick, or Smart TV with dozens of apps and providers.
I pay for a subscription. Buggy whips are still legal. Exceeding the speed limit is illegal. I still bought and own a car anyway.

You’re about half way there.

I get 800 channels of locals… abc, nbc, cbs, local publics; locals in every market in ‘murica.

dipped my toes into IPTV for the first time (where have i been??) because its super annoying that every service (roku, samsung live tv, etc.) gives you shite-tons of channels with comercials for free....or you can pay comsast or some a-hole company $200/mo for...shite-tons of channels with commercials *PLUS* ESPN. :-/
bullshite.
the thing holding me back was (a) DVR and (b) i wanted a brainless IPTV option that will go everywhere i go.
i used a combination of bailing wire and scotch tape to get IPTV running through my plex server (which i use for virtually all tv watching these days) and i gotta say, it came through for me this weekend with the LSU game!
being able to launch a supported app on virtually *EVERY* device known to mankind (appletv, roku, nvidia, android tv, LG, samsung, etc..) and instantly watch the channel you want is compelling.
no sideloading or having to buy some shitty ONN stick to get IPTV to work. i also hard-wire all my TVs so a stick was a no-go for me for that reason alone; i want to use the native app ecosystem for whatever TV i'm watching.
i'm still figuring shite out, but so far its been really sweet. can't imagine paying for ATT/DirectTV and getting screwed 2 minutes before the game started .

Which app for the Roku? I always thought it wasn't available on it.

More posts about this tonight on Nextdoor than missing pets and folks begging for money.
Always amusing to read things on there like: "My TV stopped showing the LSU game. Is anyone else able to watch the game? I just bought this TV."
