Who wears men's underwear with no fly?

Anybody else run across this?
My wife bought me some underwear recently and the damn things have no fly. WTF? She bought it because it was on clearance at a store that is going out of business. Is there a reason why men's underwear should have no fly?
I don't blame her, because she assumed it was men's underwear and it would have a fly. I threw it away, and will be headed to the Duluth Trading store.
ETA: Men's underwear is too damn expensive these days...

I’ve got a couple pair that I got for hiking/camping that have no dickhole I think. They’re the quickdry kind.
But then again, I don’t go out of my way to ask other men if they have a dickhole in their boxers.

I ordered some from Amazon the other day that don't have a fly
