Yes it cost the state.

Yes it did and these jobs cost the state thousands and guess what, every year it cost thousands to keep each job or the employers will leave the state. It's a welfare plan more so than a job creation plan.

It would have been cheaper to advertise and market the state than poor billions into a transient industry.

The LAGOP hated Jay long before that. They went so far as to run Roger Villiere, the damn chairman of the LAGOP, against him for Lt. Gov. rather than back the clear republican front runner.
You are clearly upset that Jay didn’t stay loyal to party lines. He never did his entire political career. It’s why the LAGOP didn’t like him and also why he was an effective politician for the State.
