I liked his cut throat attitude. But he never really "beat" Goku. Yeah he knocked him out in the Buu saga but he wasn't even fighting a full strength Goku.

What blows my mind about that show is how tall the characters officially are. You would think Goku is like 6'5 but his official height is 5'9 and Vegeta is 5'4.

A university professor and I were discussing the ethnic cleansing/war that took place in the 80s in the Balkans. Prof was an expert on European history. He said that Atilla the Hun and Ghengis Khan both made attempts to conquer that part of the world. Said those badass Serbs, Croats, et al sent both of them packing!
