I'm too lazy to look it back up, but it had to do with bite force. Tigers had a considerable advantage in bite force.
In large cats tigers have a 250+ Lb weight advantage.

I was just coming to say this. Even the most experience people stay away from these bad baws.

I should have put hippos and Rhinos.
Also Kamodo Dragons are definitely bad baws.
The human baw so the baddest, without question.
A virus is not an animal so it doesn't count.
My idea of a baw is an animal that will fight to the death for his family; sacrifice his own health to reproduce offspring; not back down from any fight for supremacy; undergoes extreme conditions to become the king (like lions and gorillas).
When I take that into account a human baw to me doesn't pass the test. Now, I don't know enough about the Male Rhinos and their right to passage or Hippos either.
Maybe some one can tell us how an alpha male becomes the dominant of their species.

Ants is the correct answer they can take any land animal down in minutes with a swarm and there is no way to stop them.
Mosquito should be second

There is no fighting back. There is only retreat.

The tiger would kill every one of those animals though. Perfect circumstances, it could kill an elephant. An elephant could only kill a wounded tiger. I think they are both smart enough not to fight each other
Also there is video footage of lions whooping up on tigers, mostly the seberian tiger (biggest cat), but the bengal tiger is smaller than the male lion and is known to make them their bitch. Slightly smaller but has the speed, and agility advantage while still having immense power.
Also it would be cool if these animal species would send out some representatives to fight in a cage like the UFC, where they can fight to the death or tap out. Imagine an open weight land fighting tournament for all of planet Earth. I think under ordinary circumstances the elephant would rein supreme, but I think if the tiger knew it was a fight to the death and no ambush, then I think it could still use its speed and agility to get up on the elephants back.

Orcas are actually of the same Familia as Dolphins.
Read a story a while back that Orcas were obsevered removing sharks livers, with surgical precision, and just leaving them to die; as if it were sport. Nothing hunts an orca, and the ocean is the most savage environment on our planet

Ehh not really. Those are likely young or injured elephants. Those elephants would also be Asian elephants which are significantly smaller (up to 8K pounds smaller) and weaker then African Bull Elephants.

African elephant above all land animals.
Orcas above all sea creatures.
And no single lion is going to take on a big, healthy Cape Buffalo.
But in the pound for pound, inch for inch divisions, I would nominate....
Wolverine
Leopard
Honey Badger
Mako Shark
btw, a big tiger and lion are roughly the same size, (tiger may be slightly larger), but I'd take the tiger in a straight up fight between the two.
