Who remembers the 10K Thirst quencher commercial with Jim Mora, Archer, Dale Brown etc?

I’m thinking Davis. Doesn’t sound like Mack.

Yea Mack wasn’t that thicc back then either

Wiki says it’s Mack but I think they’re wrong. Plus they refer to him as “the new guy” which in ‘88 would’ve been Davis

Totally forgot about 10K. It reminds me when Ginseng was such a big thing back then.

I just spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out the name of that drink. Is that the one that came in cans? I can't seem to find any old pics of it.

This thread made me think of AllSport. ETA, I didn't realize it still exists.

thats back when gatorade was an actual thirst quencher. The glass did that

What also hit differently (in a bad way) was the worst sports drink at the time...Allsport. Most dissatisfying sports drink you could find and always tasted like sugar water mixed with the plastic of the re-used hosed down container it was kept in

Yes.

I want to say they still sell it to prisons. I worked in a warehouse many years ago and the owner had a pallet of the mixes.

Article on the drink. Tigerdroppings is mentioned
