Washington
Jefferson
Reagan
Teddy Roosevelt
Coolidge

If Trump can win re-election and replace RBG on the Supreme Court he would make top five even just on impact to the Judiciary and putting a 10-20 year stake in the heart of judicial activism.

Outside of the founding fathers I’d go with

Reagan
Ike
Coolidge
Trump
JFK

Without a doubt one if the WORST.

The founding fathers are the GOATs, but after them you have Reagan, Ike, and JFK.

It’s a shame Garfield took a bullet because he had potential.

Don't know but I think Carter was probably the worst.

James Monroe.

Because he said suck it Europe, I got this Monroe Doctrine now. So stay your asses out of the New World.

And they did.

Plus he was named after a great North Louisiana City.

George Washington. He could have made himself a king but remained true to a little experiment in representative democracy.

This, and also Thomas Jefferson.

He is in the discussion with Wilson. FDR would be in that group if WW2 hadn't bailed him out.

William Henry Harrison (Old Tippecanoe)

Died in office after only serving 31 days. So not enough time to frick things up.

And first sitting president to have his photo taken. So he had that going for him.

To all those saying Clinton, an honest question: Why do you say that? Not trying to start anything, but every time I've asked a Bill Clinton fan what was so great about him I've yet to hear that knock it out of the park answer.

Of course many have said "the Economy", but I can't get them to answer what it was that he did for the Economy that made it so great.

Greatest ever is tough for me. I'm not that much of a historian. I learned what I needed to to get thru school with good grades.

In my lifetime, definitely Reagan .

It's a shame Garfield's doctor didn't practice modern (for the era) medicine or he probably wouldn't have died. He would have had a better chance of survival had they done nothing.

rescued it from the downward death spiral begun under Bush? wasn't a proponent of NAFTA at the time, but that was Clinton's baby, we've done alright by that up till now
