A 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance is better than a 0.0% chance.

Your probability of winning doesn’t really increase from buying one ticket to buying 100 tickets.
But you have a better chance with one ticket than none. It’s $2 baw.

It's trashy to buy a bunch of tickets every week.
It's trashy to play scratch-offs.
It's not trashy to spend a few bucks to have a shot at $1.6 billion.
I spend way more money on other stupid shite that doesn't entertain me as much.

If you get $2 worth of fantasizing fun from buying a ticket, go for it. But just to put it in perspective. If Tiger Stadium were filled every Saturday of the year for 50 years, and you had to pick one seat on one of those 50 years' worth of Saturday to buy as the "winning seat", that's pretty much your odds of picking the right number for Megamillions.

I will not be, but I don't really care what other people do with their money.

The office is pooling together.
I don't want to play but I'll be damned if 40 people split a billion and I have to look for a new job over 5 bucks.
I consider it insurance.

Never buy them, when it gets to 1.6B I'll buy one. $2 to be a billionaire? I'll take the risk/reward on that

Do you have to be present to win? If so, my chances get significantly better if you do the drawing at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
fricking fair weather fans.

Me. Lotteries are a tax on people who don't understand math.
