I'm definitely becoming a mild prepper after this.

Not because of the threat of apocalypse but because of the stupidity and hoarding of the masses at the behest of the government.

Still me. This isn't the apocalypse. I can still go to Whole Foods and get inane luxury foods, for Christ's sake. I don't need Rick to come save the world with his six shooter.

What do you have stored away that I can’t buy in the next 15 minutes?

I'm not having any trouble shopping normal. How are preppers better off?

I never did, but you’re right, many did. They’re not now, that’s for sure.

Has there been a need for it in your area? I pick up groceries every day and haven’t had to go without anything

They definitely had the right idea for the wrong reasons. Supply lines are not in danger but nobody predicted how panicked everybody would get and clear everything out at the slightest provocation.

Having said that, I bought Lysol spray and Lysol wipes before this blew up as part of my natural pattern of having a clean house and am in no danger of running out in the near future so it makes me wonder just how nasty most of the rest of you frickers must be that have clearly never bought cleaning supplies before and think you need 20 cans of Lysol to last a few months.

Are you assholes drinking the shite?

I'm not having trouble buying anything I want besides butter right now. Do you have a stock of butter?

Bro. I walk into any store I want at any time of the day and whatever I need to comfortably subsist.

I'm not one of these kooky baws waiting for a new civil war but, if anything, the impact of this epidemic should open a lot of people's eyes as far as how society reacts. I buy in bulk year-round, so it's not going to alter my purchases that much. However, I'll probably invest in some MRE type food/meals once the initial craziness dies down and those type of sellers are glutted with overstock.

I prefer my regular diet over one consisting of canned food, powdered eggs, powdered milk, and MREs.

I'm good.

Preppers are better off because you don’t know the future, and neither do they, but while they plan for the unforeseen, you assume it will always be there for you at your beck and call, and there simply are no guarantees in this life.
