One of my first concerts as well. It cost me my 17 yr old girlfriend. We were 20-30 ft from the stage when she made eye contact with David Lee Roth. A few mins later security shined a flashlight in our eyes and motioned us backstage. By us he meant her.

I took it well. When school started back up in the fall I made it a point to bully marching band kids.

I didn’t remember if was the Assembly Center or the Centroplex.

The '84 show was in June at the PMAC. It was after my junior year in high school and we drove straight thru from our "school approved" Junior Trip (our parents were really naive or didn't give a shite) to Panama City Beach. The song was getting heavy air play at the time as well.

I don’t mind splurging on once in a lifetime activities for my children, like when the World Cup is coming to the US, but I think a music concert does not qualify for that

Why not?

Pay her what they are worth and sell them for what folks think they’re worth. Profit.

Pfft.

Van Halen never reached the level of fame T-Swift has.

Yeah these prices are stupid. But so is paying $65,000 for a truck, or $500K for a starter home, or $8,000 for a week at the beach.......

Who’s paying that? Me and all of the people I know aren’t….

If any interest in selling, let me know. I have a soon to be 13 year old that I’m trying my best to get there.

I inquired about 4 tickets last August when they went on sale . Guy told me he had 4 wanted two k each they were club level.

No doubt I should have bought them given what they are going for … I just couldn’t bring my self to spending 8 k for tickets at the time

And surprise surprise, those females will be stumping for student loan "forgiveness" or some other financial burden later. But you get to pimp yourself through your kid on doing something of little value. Women, and cuck husbands, again.

Wembley stadium is the 2nd largest in Europe and typically seats around 100K for concerts.

Taylor Swift has sold it out 8 times this summer over 2 tour stops in London.

Meh, willing buyer and willing seller. My wife and I bit the bullet and bought three tickets as a Christmas present for my two daughters. Tickets were expensive but not quite $2k each. Wife and girls are flying down to New Orleans to go with my sister and niece. Once in a lifetime event for them.

My wife and I do well, but I do have some regrets because I could now sell those tickets at 3-4x what I paid for them.
