Reading that paper from 1956 is funny... How they placed her in an “iron lung” and did a heart message....,

What about the one on 190 near Erwinville? That one logically turned into a church, since I assume they needed to do something with the livestock

Yep, replaced the old George Landry's Convenience Store, my Dad used to always stop at that George Landry's on the way to or from B.R. to get a Jack and Soda to go.

We used to catch lizards and the dude from the snake farm would give us a nickel for each one.
Took all that cash and bought out all the candy at Miller's Store.
Good times.

LaPlace....
It’s The Place, but with a feminine twist.

When you’re farming snakes, how far apart do you plant them and when is growing season?

My family and I drove past there often and never stopped. One of us siblings would always say, “Look, the Snake Farm. Wonder what’s in there?” It looked like it may have smelled bad. Haha

I edited, adding the article after I posted, Was gonna get called out either way and didn't feel like correcting my op. The niece was his daughter, just not the owners daughter. My dad was a friend of her dad, just from going there often. I was like negative 2 years old and was going from what I remembered my dad telling me.
