Boy could we use more happy ending stories

I agree, let's hear em

They told us we couldn't have any kids...

Finally got one. Only to end up damn near dieing and having to kiss my wife goodbye for good as they packed me up in an ambulance and sent me to houston after they took all my guts out.

I made it.

Have three kids total now.

Fixing to go to adoration as I do on Thursday nights at 11 pm...

God is great. Suffering has taught me a lot. Despite making me grow up fast (got sick at 18) its made every day absolutely enjoyable.

It's a pretty happy story...

I’m an only child and was fairly young when that happened. I was home alone for a couple of hours as my parents went out to dinner. When they got home, I was telling them the situation just before they were pulling baby Jessica out. It was like the ending to a suspenseful movie.

There is a Jessica in my workplace, and I can't help but refer to her as Baby Jessica.

Rescue date October 16, 1987 was the Friday Before The Fall. The Black Monday stock market crash followed that weekend.

I never understood how she got in there in the first place.
It seems like something that would have a cover.

I remember Baby Jessica well...but I can't for the life of me figure out what a pic of Jacksonville's quarterback has to do with her?

Of course they did. The rest of their life would have been,

"Dammit, woman, why weren't you watching her! You let her fall down a well!"

"Well, she wouldn't have had a well to fall into if you would have filled it or capped it like I told you to!"

I remember coming home from high school football practice on what was Oct 14, 1987, and looking forward to the final game of the NLCS between the Cardinals and Giants. The news was on before the game, and they had a segment on about the incident which had happened that morning. I didn't get to see the rescue because we had a football game that night. We, of course, discussed it in class at school.

I only remember the Simpsons episode

One of the best episodes ever. One of my favorite scenes is when Dr. Marvin Monroe says "Timmy" has reverted back to a ferrel wolf like state.

I was barely born when it happened but we read about it in elementary school. Even then there were parts of the story that made me tear up. It said that at one point all the rescue workers where tearing up or crying because she could be heard singing the Winnie the Pooh theme song down in the well. Now as a father I can’t even imagine
