1989 (I think?) Homecoming week vs Tenn... All conf running back for the Vols named Reggie Cobb had just failed repeated drug tests and was throwing his career away.
DKE's handcrafted a huge nose out of chicken wire stuffed with brown tissue paper and 2 baseball chalk lines of white powder coming out of the nostrils. Next to it was a huge sign stating "There are two things on the line today...Reggie Cobb's nose and Mike Archers job!"

2nd rec for Capt. Andy. Great guy and better Capt.!
I took it to be "home", meaning Farmerville...not his house
Thanks for doing it, as I "watch" the game here often!
Bouncer/Bartender at Murphy's/Freds (short-lived)...wear a beer shirt, talent everywhere and pick up tens of twenties of dollars soaked in floor bar gravy every night

Had zero symptoms here. 52 at time and very active physically with very bad family history (father heart attack at 48 and both grandfathers not too much older than that) and couldn't get BP in check. Cardiologist wanted stress test, but BCBS wouldn't approve without symptoms. I paid for Calcium test....5,502!!! Got in Cath lab with quickness and had 2 major blockages. CABG (double) in '22 and within 5 months was back working and all good since. No symptoms does not always mean no issues
Owned/operated a fence biz for 20 years. Asked for and received 50% deposit on all jobs. Worked almost exclusively off of word of mouth advertising though, so my clients came through referrals from someone they knew, which helped with trust concerns.
Also exclusively used nails on wood fence, but they were ACQ "dipped" so they wouldn't "bleed" (black stain flowing down) and were ring-shanked, to hold more like a screw. You could also ask for several references and addresses to drive by.
Yes...but one might argue that his is chronic narcissism, and not acute!

He is not the qb. That was Sanders son
Sorry Cap. I definitely know who he is and his accomplishments...was just playing off of d stone's concrete thread joke.
I don't believe their OC ever even coached offense in college
Bocage Animal Hospital...
Full disclosure...I may be a wee bit biased, as the vet is my son!
100% Shroom... Nobody spared in this horrific event...family, truck driver and his family, witnesses/bystanders, first responders/firefighters, and the entire Richland Parish community. You don't ever "get over it" completely.
It is where the old GM/Guide Plant used to be...Mill haven Exit
CG...QB on football team, but also started on the LISA State Champs Basketball team that year, along with 2 Neville transfers.
Now I gotcha too! The initials and screen name were probably enough, but tossing Biggie out just confirmed it for me! Hope all is well!
And damn...don't wanna be Debbie Downer here, but Bubba Borden also just recently passed... Guess I am getting old!
Thanks for the memories. The place you are remembering, where Kemal Burnley indeed worked for many years and kept me fashionable, was Kincaid Ltd. Mens Wear. Next to Blockbuster and around the bend from BR31! He passed away bout 5 years ago.
I gotta know some of you, as I darkened the door of many of these places, and worked at both Cucos and Sals.
Oh, and the 8 inches of Brass guy...Kurt Kolb, I believe?
