I was watching For All Mankind and there was a brief clip about her.

Boy could we use more happy ending stories like that in today's world.

Not only do I remember her, but I remember a joke Dennis Miller did on SNL:

"In a last ditch effort to save his embattled nomination to the US Supreme Court, Robert Bork has thrown himself down a well in Texas.

So far there's been no attempt to rescue him."

I was watching Family Ties, the episode where Alex Keaton gets hooked on uppers, they interrupted the episode to show her being extracted from the hole.

Something cool happened to me today. I'm at the Waterpark on vacay. Going on the big slide. Got two choices once you get to the top, the easy winding slide or the ballsy over the edge slide.

As I'm walking up this lady asked if I could watch her son as I went up. He was autistic and didn't really communicate at all and she was scared of heights. I said sure I can.
I went down first over the edge. When I got out I told the mom hey he is in the line for the easy one and is about 5 people back. Once the person in front of him I told her alright here he comes. The mom was so nervous. Well the person that came out wasn't him. I said what the hell???
Next thing we see homeboy is coming over the edge sprawled out ripping it! We laughed like hell, he loved every second of it.

She married a dude that went to high school with me. He had a tough life but deep down always had a good heart. I hear he's turned into a good person over the years.
