My son’s high school project graduation last night had a hypnotist, and he said it was the funniest shite he’s ever seen.

He said everybody thought it was hokey until he had some of the a-hole popular kids doing all sorts of wacky shite on stage they would normally never do…. Twirling around like ballerinas, wrestling with a blowup alligator like they were the crocodile hunter, scooting around on stage because they thought their arse was on fire ….all sorts of crazy stuff

Have you seen a hypnotist show?

Have you been part of a hypnotist show?

Not sure I fully buy into it, but my son came home swearing up and down that it was 10,000% the real deal.

Saw one in the 80s at my high school.
It was exactly as you describe.

Saw one at the Funny Bone many years ago. Saw a bunch of people I didn't know doing stupid things on stage, refused to join them, pissed off girlfriend . Still believe it's a hoax , I just don't understand why.

I have. At the funny bone back in the day. Was very skeptical, but ended up talking to one of the kids after the show and figured it was legit.

Went with a date to that show once. My date gets called up. She swore she was 100% hypnotized

That's what she said when you caught her getting plowed back stage by Jody?

I’ve seen a show. Think it was in college. One of those things I just have a hard time believing unless I were able to experience it. I’m willing to try to see, but wasn’t called up that show.

I’ve saw a hypnotist show where the ones on stage “acted” hypnotized but it was cringe and looked like they were faking it.

So I’m not a believer

Yes It was hilarious too.
He had my Marine Corps 1st Seargent flirting with a dude that he thought was a pretty woman.
He had people do all kinds of crazy stuff.

Back in the day the Washington Parish Fair would always have one, I don’t remember his name but he was maybe semi famous. I don’t know how real it was but a guy I worked with “volunteered” and said he swore he didn’t really remember anything. Personally, I call BS. If people actually had the ability to seemingly take over someone’s mind, it would seem like we would have a lot of billionaire hypnotists running around.

social pressure leads people to do things as directed, they're part of the show

but they do there harmless/silly/funny things

it never crosses a line . OF COURSE someone will say they were on a cruise where a guy sucked a dick on stage... but now you just admitting you were in the Navy

As other have stated I saw a guy named Richard delefonte at the funny bone a few times back in the 90’s. It was pretty damn funny. I think it was all legit but you never know. If it wasn’t legit the ppl on stage were very good actors.

Saw one once. He told everyone on stage they were driving. Then they were getting pulled over. Most of them pulled over but one guy dumped his drink and sped off.

Later he told them they were naked and the aforementioned dude strutted around while everyone else covered up.
