I quit before I was fired - but I was supposed to get fired
I was a receptionist and the phone calls were supposed to be limited to 2 minutes - which was hard for a lawyer’s office - and then the head paralegal’s boyfriend said I was cute - so she recommended I be fired

I was fired from a bartending gig.
The mgr framed me and said I stole $20, which I didnt. However, I did give away hundreds or maybe thousands of dollars of free drinks to my friends and girls I wanted to get with so I took the bartending experience and accepted my fate graciously.

Tried out for HS football team. Father gave me so much shite about not being home to help on the property, that I just quit. Coach came to see me one day and asked where I’d been. Told him my father wouldn’t let me continue. Instead of being nice under the circumstances, he wanted to make an example of me in front of the class. He asked if I knew what happened to people who didn’t show up for work, and I said they would be fired. He said you’re right and walked away. I have since fired several people over the years, but my experience stuck with me, and I’ve always done it with respect and compassion.

Never been fired (though came close a couple of times), but have been laid off 3 times. The most recent layoff was last week. Currently looking for my next gig.

Yes: wanted to switch from public to private. Had an interview at lunch. The CFO was a client of the firm, but I didn’t know who I was interviewing with. While at the interview they took my computer and prepared my termination papers. Came back and fired me so they could part ways on their terms and not mine. I laughed at the managing partner while he was firing me and asked if he was done so I could get my stuff.

When I was a teen, I was fired from Wendy's for

I got fired once when I was 19-20.
I've only smoked weed about 15-20 times in my life. Tried to get into it because it was the cool thing but honestly always hated how tired it made me feel.
One time I smoked weed before going to work as a tire technician.
Oil change on a 1992 four runner came in.
I thought I changed the oil but I dropped the transmission fluid and just doubled up the oil. Didn't even check the dip stick.
Owner dropped the tranny 3 miles down the road.
What a nightmare.

Because I wasn't walking out into a swamp, summertime and neck deep in the water to hold a prism for minimum wage land surveying. They had two other assholes there, who, up to until that point..had done nothing but try to dick measure and put themselves over on how hard they worked in their 18 and 19 years of being alive.
Tossed the prism out in the water and walked off the location. Hour later I was smoking a joint and banging my girlfriend in her parent's bed. Never regretted it.
