I’ve got a big problem with it: I don’t really know how it works. I know how old school pronouning works, but not this new age shite.

I have taught English for 3 decades. I understand pronouns quite well. It frosts my gerbils when people use they or them to refer to a single person. They or them is only correct if the person has a mouse in a pocket or is possessed by multiple demons. The latter seems most likely.

Just so you know, in the future I am still he/him for now but my Anus is sun/sunny and I insist you address us both equally and properly.

That saying originated with Richard Gere, “frosts my gerbils”.

I'm not the one with the problem with pronouns, bub. It's them.

I’m actually appreciate that I know how to follow up an email from Pat, Chris, and even Stacy. Now that so much communication is done with people we don’t actually meet, I’m glad to know the gender of the person I’m communicating with.

Well, or if the number or sex of the subject is unknown. That's the singular they.

But once it becomes known it makes zero linguistic sense to use it, especially when it flies in the face of subject verb agreement.

Well since you are at it can we be pissed at "her truth or my truth"?

There is but one truth.

it hasn't affected me. other than Owl, I don't know any trannies.

if I do happen to come across a pronoun person, I am not participating.

if I get a resume with pronouns on it, I immediately discard.

I do. Whatever. It's like pretending the ball the baby threw knocked you out. My target are the people using these poor souls. Plus 99% or my awake hours I'm looking for as little friction as possible. Honestly I recommend it unless your purpose is to cause it. I respect that and do it sometimes too.
