Honda Accord here. I grew up driving trucks, have owned several, just don't really enjoy it. Maybe a new $50k truck would be nice, but not over a nice sports car.

Been looking at an Audi A6.

Your only risk is trading one in. THey wouldn't give me a price on my trade until the new truck came in and they already had my deposit. Luckily they ended up offering me fair value on my trade and I didn't have to threaten to walk away down 500 buck

I've ordered multiple, both from factory and by securing one "in the pipeline". Have never had an issue getting a trade in price. Even secured a price on my trade in and tacked on another 3-4k miles while waiting. They also can't hold your deposit.

Have an E class 430 Benz. Good for now but if I stay in Br or move to NOLA I'll be getting a midsize SUV. Maybe an early 2000's 4Runner if I can get the right price. The roads here are just too shitty to not have an SUV.

The women and queers

LOL, most SUV drivers seem to be women. I was one once. All minivan now though.

IMO, if you're a guy driving a truck or big SUV, and it's not integral to your work, or you don't haul a boat or camper or help people move on the reg, you're just overcompensating for something that's lacking down below.

Still, I don't have to be married to you, so go ahead and overcompensate.

I drive an SUV, but will be selling it shortly. Going to pick up a used truck for when I need it, but my main vehicle will be some sort of econobox for my 130 mile trip to work and back.

I'm currently leaning towards a Fiat 500.

Only truck I've ever had was my old pipeline work truck.

Current vehicle is a challenger RT.

Guess it is technically. It's not your standard SUV though

Been a car driver my whole life up until my last one died and I bought my uncle's truck he was selling. Don't know if I would ever go back just because I feel much safer higher up. People rarely cut me off or pull out in front of me because they don't miss a truck like they would a sedan. Plus it is nice in heavy rain with water filled streets.
Disadvantages are parking, especially in Uptown New Orleans and dealing with parking garages.

I drive a Honda Civic. There is no reason for me to drive anything bigger/less efficient.
